Our foster program is a vital part of our rescue operation, as it allows us to provide temporary care for cats and kittens in need of socialization, rehabilitation, or medical treatment. Foster volunteers play a crucial role in preparing these animals for their forever homes.

Foster based programs means that the animals are raised in private homes and we are able to find the purrfect animal to match your lifestyle and personality.
All animals are fully examined by a veterinarian, fixed, combo tested, vaccinated and microchipped with all the accompanying paperwork before going home.
WAPR has a certified Animal Behaviorist on staff to help with any questions and concerns about our animals. She can help with the transition to a new home, behavioral changes and many other common problems.
The cost of adopting is significantly less than if you were to go to your veterinarian to have the same services.
